Girardeau Physician Associates
is a full service physician
office that has been serving
the area since 1961. We
are committed to providing
the highest quality of
health care to each of
our patients.
The group began when Dr.
Jean Chapman and Dr. Charles
Bahn formed a partnership
in 1961 for a medical
practice, located at 1902
Broadway. Through the
years, more doctors joined
the partnership, and,
in 1979, the group was
incorporated and became
known as the Internal
Medicine Group of Cape
Girardeau. The group is
now doing business as
Cape Girardeau Physician
Associates, since this
reflects the multi-specialty
nature of the practice.
The office was located
at 14 Doctors' Park until
February of 1998 when
Cape Girardeau Physician
Associates moved into
its current location in
the Healing Arts Center
of Saint Francis Medical
Center.
There are now 14 physicians
and two nurse practitioners
on the staff which services
local health care facilities.
Cape Girardeau Physician
Associates' services encompass
Internal Medicine, Family
Medicine, Pediatrics,
Pulmonology and Critical
Care, and Rheumatology.
